These type filters work with any vaccuum cleaner and cost less than a HEPA filter. They may require replacement more often. When choosing a standard filter, look for a filter that is double layered to prevent leakage.
If there are no asthma, allergy, or other health issues in your household, a standard filter may be all you require,however, the HEPA filters offer extra protection to prevent future complications. In addition you should use your vaccuum cleaner as a guide for buying a filter. A more powerful cleaner may require a higher performance filter.
